for the reason that almost everyone i met that day were in stripes.
even this dearest lady i met for sunday lunch was wearing a stripey shirt.
and so was i.
what an unplanned coincident. duh~ coincidence are never planned anyways.
finally, after an extensive difficulties faced and tons of rescheduling, manage to set the ideal date with this busy money making lady for lunch. in conjunction of her long overdue birthday gift.
i suck at giving birthday presents. as a living prove, the bestfriend was given a pair of socks a few years back for her birthday. silly isn’t? but hey, it’s the thought that matters, right?
had the creamiest alfredo at piccolo mondo. the dish was a bit ‘euweuws’ for the belated birthday girl since the pasta was green in colur. despite the ‘euweuws’ given by the lady, love every bite of it. purely heaven!
and this is how spotless my plate was after the fulfilling meal. i did mention that i can really eat, didn’t i?
the lamb shank the lady had was delish as well. especially the mashed potato served alongside. still, nothing can beat a freshly home barbequed lamb. and that reminds me. oh darlings, when will our next barbeque session be?
it was a very pleasurable lunch, with plenty of foods, gossips, drinks, laughs and many more swamping around. we should have more of this, shouldn't we? a full score for the day, and an additional score for the lady as she scored herself a phone number.
and a phone number worth scoring for i tell u!
thee hee~
good food. good gossips. good drinks. good laughs.
produce good people.
good people produce good country.
darn it, what am i talking about?
and so why am i declaring sunday as the stripes day again?
this is why.
as i reached home that evening, my day wasn't over. the family decided to go out for dinner and it happen to be that the siblings were also in stripes. haha!
talking about coincident huh.
